A member in the jury of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Justice Peter Mallong has passed away.
Justice Mallong was said to have died in the late hours of Sunday after a short and brief illness.
Hassan Sulaiman, the Chief Registrar Federal High Court of Nigeria has confirmed the news via Punch correspondent on Monday.
He said, “Hon. Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a judge of the Federal High Court, passed away on July 30, 2023, unexpectedly after a brief illness in Abuja. We will miss him more than words can express.
“Funeral arrangements will be communicated to the public in due time.”
