Nigeria – A Nigerian, Ali Ahmad Geidam was duped at the POS point with a fake one thousand Naira note.
Geidam, a guy from Yobe state, narrated how he was cheated few days ago at the POS point.
He, however, posted two copies of the Naira notes on his Facebook page to enlighten the public how to differentiate between the two.
Recall that Central Bank of Nigerian (CBN) redesigned 200, 500 and 1000 naira notes in it’s aim to minimize the cash flow in the country.
Part of the plan was to complement the cashless policy in the country.
He Cautioned People To Be Extra Careful with POS
Geidam also cautioned people to be careful, especially at POS centers across the country.
